NEWS FLASH 4th June 2008. - Competition offers to buy eLation eBikes Company.

eLation always knew it had a good product but now even our competition are acknowledging the fact. On Thursday, eLation management was approached with an offer to sell the business, or at the very least the rights to our number one selling kit. It was explained to eLation that the reason behind this offer was to secure a reputable product with the best torque on the market. The offer was rejected as eLation still has a number of concepts and ideas up it's sleeve that with further enhance eLation's reputation.

The eLation system was launched in August 2006 as a concept kit to convert a standard bike to electric. It very quickly received favorable reviews amongst the electric bike community, both riders and builders.

In October 2006 the eLation System was selected to appear on The New Inventors, an honor considering other electric bike/kit designs had tried and been rejected. On the night we won the Viewer's Choice Award and made it to the Grand Final for 2006.

Since then we have not rested on our laurels, we have continued to improve and advance our design. For these reasons we believe the eLation eBike system is now the most efficient electric drive system on the market. Our system ensures each component is able to operate at it's most efficient level, ensuring maximum overall system efficiency.

The eLation system is designed to use all the existing bike gears. This means we are able to provide unmatched bottom end torque for hill climbing and a superb top end cruising speed, when compared to hub motors of the same power output.

By combining this with the most advanced type of Lithium Ion battery, a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4), and eLation designed alloy components we can also boast the lightest system on the market.

So if you need a Power Assist System that not only looks good but performs in the real world with hills and head winds then the eLation System is for you.
